Meet Dr. Dave Marquis
Dr. David Marquis is skilled in the Functional Medicine approach to evaluation and care of complex and chronic health concerns. He has a focused interest in neuro-degenerative and neuro-developmental conditions including Autism Spectrum, TBI, Parkinsonian Tremors, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and CTE, and also has 20+ years of experience supporting patients with common metabolic conditions including endocrine-related disorders of thyroid, diabetes, and sex hormone imbalances. He is a board certified Chiropractor, has a Diplomat focused in Clinical Nutrition from the American Clinical Board of Nutrition and is currently focused on credentialing in a second Diplomat in Functional Neurology.
Dr. Marquis continuously advances his knowledge with over 200 hours annually of post-doctorate education. He is an accomplished public speaker and writer and teaches classes locally as a recurring guest lecturer. He regularly provides free educational lectures throughout the community via Prevention On Purpose.
Personally, Dr. Marquis is a proud father of 4 and has been happily married for over 25yrs. Outside of work, he loves to surf, camp, read, spend time with his family, and play guitar. Dr. Marquis is actively involved in his community, donating his time to various organizations such as JustServe.org, Boy Scouts of America, Central Coast Follies, the Still Frothy Billabong Surf Contest, and provides support to several sports teams throughout the Five Cities area. Additionally, for the past 20 years, he has been a volunteer Sunday school teacher as well as at Early Morning Seminary for local youth and high school students.
